Inspired by the Cosmic Turtle carrying the World or Cosmos on it's back. The textures and colours in the historic walled Town of Berwick-upon-Tweed are like Sea Turtles colouring and scales. Turtles are ancient creatures and Berwick is very old so there is also this similarity. I wondered what merging the Town and Turtle into a hybrid grotesque Monster would look like.
